Pink @ sporting events...seriously?!

Ok...here we go on another rant of my pet peeves...why do apparel companies for sports teams insist on making pink apparel?? I mean if the Yankees team colors were pink and green, then fine I'd understand...but their team colors are blue and white and girls, those are both pretty neutral (meaning girls can wear them without complaining). I like to get dressed up with the best of them, but save the pink for a cocktail dress or some great shoes...BUT leave sports with the colors that God intended.

Now...in addition when did celebrities like Alyssa Milano (sorry Dave) get to create a fashion line for the NFL...seriously??! I mean sports is for both guys and girls but "fashionable" clothes to root for your sports team?! If Arod played in a pink jersey (which maybe he'd prefer, particularly in October) then fine buy his pink jersey...but as it is he and my boy Jeter wear pinstripes and blue and white so sell that and don't encourage pink in sports...unless of course its for the Red Sox, they'd look pretty in pink.

Stick with your teams real colors...blue and white for yankees and blue and gold for ND....seriously!
