Possibly one of the best things in the world for a dog-owner in NYC is a place that you can bathe your own dog. There is a place on MacDougal (177 MacDougal) that allows you to do this and see the absolute joy or disgust (this is a unique day when Maddy actually smiled while having her locks done). The staff is super friendly and helpful and Maddy walked home with enough treats for her and all her friends in the building. check out www.dogwashnyc.com
AWESOME Dog! My golden is now 8 years old (yup still as youthful as ever) and willingly jumps into the tub...she hates it when the shower is turned on though. Dog washes rule, no need to clean up the tub after!
